Robins - January 30th - February 3rd

It was a short week in the Robins' class, due to conferences, but here's a look at what we've been up to...

The letter of the week was "J"...

At circle, each child picked an item out of a bucket filled with sand. Would it be something that started with H? I? J?

Return of the flubber...

Geoboards help us understand geometric shapes and give our fingers a workout...

The Robins love to paint & this week we threw some letters into the mix...

Later this week, we did some more exploration with creating our own colors...

We talked about ice and why it melts. Next, the Robins did some experiments of their own to see what made ice melt the fastest. Cold water? Warm water? Salt? And, what if they wrapped the ice in foil or wax paper, would it make the ice melt slower or faster?

Thanks for reading! Until next week...
Miss Crystal & Miss Julie
