Octopus anyone?

Have you ever seen an octopus through a magnifying glass?

On this day the Robin's got the chance to touch a baby octopus  and then use a magnifying glass to really
see all of it's different features.

The Robin's learned that an adult octopus has 8 legs and that each of these legs contain 240 suction cups.  They also learned that octopuses have 3 hearts and blue blood.  Great week of learning, kiss your brains.

Now, on to the eating of the octopus.....
Yes, you read right, eating.

First, you dip the octopus in milk then coat it with a flour and bread crumb mixture.

These boys had fun dipping and coating  the octopus. But when it came time to actually eat the octopus.
Well, that was a different story.  Out of 18 Robin's, 5 of them asked for seconds and thirds.  The rest of the class decided they would rather look at the octopus through the magnifying glass than eat it.
Great week Robin's
