Helping Hands

There are just some things you don't have to "teach."  One of the girls wore tights last week and had a hard time climbing the hill in the gym.  Rather than interfering, we let the children use their creativity and desire to help each other solve the problem.

Many friends tried to help, but these two used a human chain to pull their friend to the top.  The whole trial and error process was handled with giggles, encouraging words, and ideas from the rest of the Blue Birds.  The previous week we talked a lot about how the Blue Birds are like a family - we love each other and take care of each other.  Nicely done, ladies!!
